For parents
More than kicks and punches.
Parents come to us for confidence, focus, discipline, and respect, not trophies. Our kids martial arts program in Elk Grove develops the whole child: coordination on the mat, calm at home, and focus at school.
What a child practices here is harder than a kick. Being new at something in front of other people and staying anyway. Waiting their turn when they would rather go first. Repeating a movement until the fortieth try looks different from the first.
The belt is the visible part. What parents tend to notice is at home. A child who finishes what they start, who can be still when they are asked to be, and who has somewhere to put their energy on a Tuesday afternoon. We do not tell them they are great. They work that out for themselves by doing something difficult and finding out they can.
The thing parents tell us most often is not about belts. It is that their child asks when the next class is. Coaches know each student's name, which is a large part of why: as one parent put it in a review, "The coaches know each student's name which is amazing and provide feedback as necessary."

What Elk Grove parents say
"Embellish Kickboxing is hands down one of the best investments we make and our son makes in himself. He has grown so much. The coaches hold the kids to a high standard and help them meet it."
"My nephew walked in shy, but the coaches made him feel comfortable right away. Now he's more confident, stronger, and looks forward to every class. We've seen such a positive shift in his discipline and energy."
"One word, amazing. My son is autistic and has been attending for about six months and his progress has been incredible. The coaches are patient but they push him, and I love it."
