What is Embellish Kickboxing Academy?
Embellish Kickboxing Academy is a family-owned martial arts and fitness academy in Elk Grove, California, located at 9154 E. Stockton Blvd, Suite 120, Elk Grove, CA 95624. The academy teaches kids, teens, and adults, from total beginners through advanced students.
What classes does Embellish teach in Elk Grove?
Mini Titans (ages 3 to 6), Kids (ages 7 to 9), Young Teens (ages 10 to 14 or green belt and up), Kids Kickboxing, the Adaptive Program for ages 13 and up, Teen and Adult Kickboxing (14 and up), Muay Thai, FitBox adult fitness, and practical Self Defense.
How much do martial arts classes cost in Elk Grove?
Embellish Kickboxing Academy charges one monthly membership per student, not a fee per class. That membership is unlimited, so a student can train as many times a week as the schedule allows, and it covers every class they are eligible for rather than one program at a time. New students start with the One Week Pass at $24.99, which covers one trial class plus one regular class session with loaner gloves and gear included, and that $24.99 is credited toward the first month if they join. Monthly rates depend on program and frequency, so call (916) 360-0758 and a coach will give you the current numbers up front.
Is the membership unlimited?
Yes. One membership at Embellish Kickboxing Academy in Elk Grove covers unlimited classes for that student. There is no per-class charge and no cap on how many times a week you come in.
How do I book my first class at Embellish?
Use the contact form, call (916) 360-0758, or stop by the academy in Elk Grove to get your One Week Pass for $24.99.
Is there a long-term contract?
No long-term contract is required to try Embellish Kickboxing Academy. The One Week Pass stands on its own, with no obligation to continue. Ongoing membership rates do vary by agreement length, and a coach walks through those options before anyone signs.
What if my child wants to quit after a few weeks?
Tell a coach rather than disappearing. Most of the time the cause at Embellish Kickboxing Academy is one specific thing, like a drill that felt hard or a nervous moment, and it is fixable once someone knows about it. If martial arts genuinely is not right for your child, nobody at the academy will pressure you to keep going. Call (916) 360-0758.
What if I am out of shape or have not trained in years?
That describes a large share of the adults who walk into Embellish Kickboxing Academy. Every adult class in Elk Grove scales to the person doing it, drills can be modified, and taking a break mid-class is normal rather than noted. You do not need to get in shape before starting.
Who teaches the classes?
Classes at Embellish Kickboxing Academy in Elk Grove are taught by coaches with 25+ years of coaching experience across kickboxing, Muay Thai, youth martial arts, and conditioning. The academy is family-owned.
Is training safe? Will my child get hurt?
Training at Embellish Kickboxing Academy is technique-first and age-grouped, with coaches supervising every drill. Contact is controlled and introduced gradually. Sparring is never forced, is always supervised, and only happens when a student is ready for it.
Will martial arts make my child more aggressive?
No. Class at Embellish Kickboxing Academy spends far more time on self-control than on striking, and students are taught that the skill has rules and stays in the room. Parents more often report the opposite at home, because the child now has a structured place to put the energy.
How is Embellish different from a regular gym?
A gym sells access to equipment. Embellish Kickboxing Academy in Elk Grove teaches a skill on a schedule, with a coach leading every session and a progression to work through. You show up to a class that is already planned rather than deciding what to do on your own.
How does martial arts compare to rec-league sports for kids?
Rec-league sports are seasonal, team-scored, and depend on playing time. Martial arts at Embellish Kickboxing Academy runs year-round and progress is individual, so a child advances on their own effort rather than on a roster spot. Many families in Elk Grove do both, since the seasons rarely conflict.
What is the difference between kickboxing and Muay Thai?
Kickboxing uses punches and kicks. Muay Thai, the art of eight limbs, adds knees, elbows, and clinch work. Both are taught at Embellish Kickboxing Academy in Elk Grove, and many students train in both.
What happens on the One Week Pass?
The One Week Pass at Embellish Kickboxing Academy is real training, not a sales meeting. It covers one trial class plus one regular class session for $24.99, with loaner gloves and gear included. You or your child train with the group, a coach checks in during and after, and at the end you get an honest read on which program fits. You decide from there.
What should I wear and bring to my first class?
Comfortable athletic clothing you can move in and a water bottle. Embellish Kickboxing Academy will guide you on gloves, wraps, and any other gear once you are enrolled, so there is nothing to buy in advance.
Can parents stay and watch class?
Yes. Parents are welcome to stay and watch at Embellish Kickboxing Academy in Elk Grove, and there is seating along the mat. This is especially common for younger students and for families in the Adaptive Program.

How often should a student train?
