The morning
What a session looks like
Technical instruction
Diego runs the mat and teaches to the level in the room. A newer student and an experienced one get something different out of the same drill.
Partner and pad work
Hands on, at a controlled pace. Our coaches are on the floor the whole time alongside him.
Time to ask questions
Not many students get to ask a working professional how he actually trains. That part is worth the price on its own.
Parents are welcome
There is seating along the wall. You are welcome to watch the whole session and take photos.
Questions
The things parents ask first
- Does my child need experience?
- No. The youth session is open to ages 7 to 10 at any level, including students who have never trained with us.
- Which session is mine?
- Ages 7 to 10 take the first session. Ages 11 and up take the second. If your student is right on the line, call us and we will put them where they will get the most out of it.
- Do I need my own gloves?
- Bring gloves and shin guards if you have them. If you do not, say so when you sign up and we will have gear ready for you.
- Do I have to be a member at Embellish?
- No. The seminar is open to the public and non-members are welcome.
- What does it cost?
- $85 per student if you train at Embellish, $100 if you do not. You pick which applies when you reserve.
- Can two of my kids come?
- Yes. Call us rather than signing up twice online and we will get both of them placed in the right sessions.
- Do you teach Muay Thai year round?
- Yes. Our Muay Thai classes in Elk Grove run every week, and the seminar is a guest event on top of the regular schedule.
